Hunting with air rifles

Anyone coon or small game hunt with an air rifle? Looking at getting one to use to coon hunt and maybe shoot other small game with but don't know anything about them other then they all seem to be heavy. What is best one out there? I would like one light weight, quiet and accurate. Any info appreciated.

Just as loud and heavier than any normal .22 hunting rifle.
Power and accuracy is not what they advertise,unless your only shooting 40'!!

With the continued scarcity of 22's, I'm packin a 58 cal rifled musket. And yes, it is heavier than my 10/22.

My cousin squirrel hunts with one you charge with a scuba tank it is nice and powerful but they aren't cheap! It would kill a coon easy

Life's short so get off the couch and either drop the tailgate and tree some coon or sit back on the bank and do some fishing!

Air rifle

I hunted with one afew years back,,,NEVER AGAIN,,I hunted squirrel and coon,,,usually only took 1 to 3 shots for squirrel but many more for coon,,,and the gun was so much heavier than anyone of my 22's that I have,,,I like dropping a coon with 1 shot,,,not 5 to 10 shots.
