sick of wind and being dry!!!
we cant get any moisture here once again, sucks to work and hunt in. working or hunting all you can feel is dirt crunching in your teeth. buddy came last night and we had fun hunt that was almost interupted with dealing with cow having trouble right at hunt time then got pulled over during middle of hunt in buggy. LOL. bout figures guys out having good clean fun get harassed!!! cops were looking for something else but had to go through motions and were **** surprised to see 5 hounds hanging out of box. couldnt hardly get away they kept talking bout all kinds of hunting once figured out what we was up to.
tonight got out right at dark with bout 30 mph east wind. with all the rigs last night where i couldnt hunt figured id take truck tonight cover little more ground and sure enough never a strike!!! bout my luck. made 3 freecasts with dogs baying under old fallen building, long smoking track with ground catch of tiny coon, and im pretty sure a layup with single. never heard a bark on last run had to hunt garmin and when showed treed drove around.
little of tonights action.
little den, saw eyes on walk in then he slipped into hole right as i took pic.

my like new 10 year old truck now scratched up. shadow is such a rockhead!!!

I am tired of it too. We treed a couple the last 2 nights but hounds went deep to do it had to use garmin on last tree and they werent that far around 500 yds we couldnt hear them over the wind. We got some rain this morning didnt settle the dust hoping for a decent shower tonight without the high winds

WISH YA'LL COULD HAVE OUR RAIN
We have had about 13 inches this month alone. Can't hunt for the rivers & hunting clubs being flooded. Now it's in the Mid to High 80's after a long cold (for us) & wet winter. Snakes & Gators out and about now. Hope ya'll get some rain. Sounds like some hunting fun anyways.
Hoping to be in Ohio for B&T Days. Cooler there.
