Getting chaps sewn on boots?

I have a pair of Grubbs boots that I cut the dans chaps off due to them leaking, the boots show no real sign of wear, I can't justify buying another pair when these are in such good shape. My question is can I send these boots to a company and have chaps sewn back on them? I think I remember seeing on here where a few had done this. Thanks
