Dove's Bluesingin' Hounds
Here are my blueticks. I will post pedigrees and videos later.
My two females. Gemma (all blue) will be 2 this summer. She has been on a few bear and has a nice bawl mouth. Hallie is going on 4 years. She is a top coon dog. Started running on coon at 3 months and hasn't stopped. Both females are McKinney and Smokey River bred. Gemma is also jet bred.
My two males, Clyde on the left and Buddy on the right. Clyde's a hard treeing coon dog. He is out of Casey's Missouri Blues. Buddy is a top bear and coon dog. He has treed many bears on his own. He is Smokey River bred. Both are 6 years old.

Some videos of the dogs on coon
Buddy split treed from Hallie on Friday night about a half mile away. Both had coon in the trees.
All 4 on a caged coon.
Hallie treed in a hole last year.

Chris has some nice hounds. I always enjoy hunting with them and unless there aren't any coon moving you can expect to tree something every time.

Upcoming Cross
My top female, Hallie will be coming into heat within the next month. I will be breeding her to my top male, Buddy. Hallie is a straight coondog with a cold nose. She started very young. Buddy is run on coon and bear. He is also very cold nosed. This is a linebred cross and pups should be super cold nosed and some easy starters. I plan on selling them started at around 6 months and will be keeping 2 for myself. Would welcome you to come take a hunt with both or either parents. Message me if you would be interested.

Not great quality video but Hallie treed one last night. Led two young dogs in on the track after and those are the other two barking. Hallie is the one jumping on the tree and at the very end.

I am in Baker, WV (Hardy County). I'm about 60 miles north of Harrisonburg, Va. Here is a picture of the all blue females pedigree:

All-Blue Sparky Bloodline
This strain of all blue blueticks began in this area, mainly in Carrol ,Wythe, and Pulaski counties. Garry Dalton had the most to do with it. I was lucky to have and hunt one from '89 to '02. He was the best coonhound I ever had to this date, and I'm 68 yrs. old,and have coonhunted since I was 12 yrs.old. I wish we were closer I would like to see your hounds. I don't bearhunt anymore, but I still coonhunt. I have an all blue gyp that I'm training now, she is 1yo.. I doubt if she makes a top hound.

all blue female
I think I am going to keep the all blue female strictly on bear. She seems to prefer a bear track. I haven't had too much time to work with her like I should. I took her out Thursday night and let her an a year old pup go and they put a coon in the tree twice.

pups
I believe I miscalculated on when she would come into heat. She should come in next month which would put the pups due around October. I will be keeping 2 off this cross for myself very excited about this cross. Hallie is aunt to the all blue female I have (full sister to her father).

FOR SALE
I would like to sell Clyde to a good home. I just do not have the time to coon hunt that many dogs. He is 6 years old and UKC registered goes back to NITECH'PR'GOODTIME BLUE PAYTON. I can post papers later.
PROS: easy to handle, listens well, good with other dogs, would make a good pup trainer, not trashy
CONS: has been a great tree dog but lately he has not barked like he used to on a tree, but I have not hunted him much, maybe once a month
Hunts out a few hundred yards alone then will check back if he doesn't find a track. He is not a long distance runner, but he will go farther with another dog. He would make a good dog for a youth or beginner or someone who wants a close hunting dog that will get the job done. He is not for the person who wants a dog that will hunt as far as he has to to get the meat.
I wouldn't be considering selling him if it weren't for breeding my two best dogs this past week. I am hoping to keep two off this litter and I have too many coondogs to hunt, why I am running the new dogs on bear and he will not make a bear dog.

Clyde is SOLD to nice man who will be able to pleasure hunt him a lot. Took the bear dogs out on Friday and Saturday and treed several bear. Gemma is really doing well. I am planning on breeding her to Buddy next heat cycle for some really nice bear pups. Bear was too high in the tree to get any good pics with my phone. I'll try and get some next time.

Bear
Went bear hunting with a good friend in Va last Saturday. Gemma and Buddy started a track. Gemma ran the sow for a couple miles but couldn't tree her. Buddy split and ended up treeing a young bear in this tree:

Took the females coonhunting tonight and Gemma treed a nice one by herself. She's really coming along and has a nice cold nose. She's only 2.

Pups
Hallie had 10 pups on Thursday 6 females 4 males. I will be keeping 2-3 off this cross for myself and selling the rest started around 6 months. I can take names of anyone who is interested in a pup down. I should have 4 or so available. Father is a cold nose, hard tree dog. Hallie is a cold nose, smart chop on tree dog. Both are very accurate. Father is a great bear dog, rigs, runs, and trees his own bear. Mother will rig, run, and tree her own coon. Both hunt deep if needed. Smokey River and Jet bloodlines. Message me for more info. I would also be glad to take you on a hunt with the father and mom when the pups are weaned off.

Lost the runt, she was just too little, but the others are healthy and have already been dewormed once and are nibbling on some canned food. In a few weeks I'll let the pups have a coon hide to play with. We treed a bear this morning. Some of the dogs split off on the cub but lost him over the rocks, the others put the sow up a tree. We've been under a lot of bear this training season hoping it pays off in kill season. I hope your season goes well also. Keep me posted.

Bear Treed
Bear treed yesterday. The bluetick in the first video is a young grade gyp I have that I have been working with. She is a nice pack dog, opens on track and makes most of the trees, not the best tree dog yet. The second is of Buddy treed on the same bear and the grade gyp. The other dogs are a buddy's English dogs. We had a nice hunt and got treed early.

Pups are 4 weeks old. This one took particular interest in a coon hide.
