The word on the street is our good friend KENNETH TAVARES Has quit is job and sold is mule betrayed his girl friend and sold 27 of the 30 dogs in his yard ,,, Just to make the trip to Black & Tan days to play with all of his friends

Darrell I heard the girl friend took his truck and Kenneth kept the mule for transportation. He is already on his way to NW Ohio riding his mule and leading his last 3 BNT's.

I thought I heard the same thing ,, but he was also picking up a few hitch hikers ,, them Tennessee fellows was needing a ride

so don't worry about the mule just load the wagon

From what I hear the wagon is loaded and there headed out. They ran into a little snag with all the owners handlers and dogs the wagon was over filled and the reins wouldn't reach back to the wagon. So KT and Todd Wicks are riding the mule. KT and Todd had a little debate on who was in charge of the reins but the rest of the guys voted and KT has the right rein and Todd has the left rein now there just hoping to make it thru those Tenn. and KY mountains.

Boys the rumor is they have had some problems. They was a comin thru those Mountains when they heard this Wipeout dog running some fast game to the north. Well that darn mule decided he needed to speed up to stay in hearing of that dog and took off on a dead run. They lost half the dogs and handlers on the way. The good thing is that dog caught and killed the deer so they have venison stew tonight and figure they will have jerky for tomorrow. The bad news is that in that process they broke 3 spokes in one wheel and a half dozen in another. They figure they will hit the Ohio line sometime tomorrow night and it should be smooth sailing after that. The bad news is KT and Todd fell off the mule. The good news is KT grabbed on to the halter and hung on he is a little bruised up from getting beat on by those pounding hooves. The other good news is Todd is still along to he grabbed the tail and hung on. They say he needs a shower he is covered from head to toe and stinks guess that mule ate to much green grass.
