Dow Hale
It is with a heavy heart that I am posting this.I just heard that Dow went on to be with the lord yesterday. Dow was a good friend of mine and was a long time redbone man. He had some fine dogs over the years and has done a lot to help this breed move forward. I took Dow on his last coon hunt several years ago his health was fading then. I am sure going to miss him and his wisdom he shared with me on breeding and genetics. His stock of dogs can still be found in some of the winning redbones today.

Dow
was a kind and gentle man. I went hunting with Dow several times. Soft spoken and loved the redbone breed. Had not talked to him in a long while but asked about him often. Just a good man for sure.
