Dogs stool too hard?

Anybody ever had a problem with their dogs stool being too hard? I have a female that i think has that problem. Hers are very hard and even cause her to bleed sometimes. Will just switching the feed solve that problem?

Try giving her a small bowl of milk or mixing some canned sweet potato in with her food occasionally, It help my male dog.

A bit more feed!

Just give her a bit more feed and that will more than likely take care of it! Sounds to me like you are at the miminum to be fed for the hounds size and intake needed. Another 1/4 or 1/2 cup should do the trick!

What are you feeding & has she been on antibiotics any time recently ?
Give her some yogart or a probiotic pill everyday - it will regulate her system .

Been feeding pro plan sport and she just finished up some antibiotics last week

She looks good and very healthy though so I don't think I'm under feeding her.....

It's probably the antibiotics that caused it . Many in treating an illness kill not only the bad bacteria but the good that lives in the intestinal track . Do the probiotics for a week or two it will re-establish the good bacteria & regulate her system .

mix some vegtable oil in dogs feed it will loosen her stool but don't get crazy with it

Go to Taco Bell and get her a burrito........that will for sure take care of your problem! Just kidding. Probably just the medicine she's been on!
