Two dogs, Moores Hardtime Dixie (owned by Richard Moore, handled by Jody Jessup) and Hardtime Awesome (owned by Jason Bullard) are both at the top of the Purina Race for the overall and for the English breed. I think unofficially Dixie is two cast wins ahead of Awesome. Both have had an amazing year.

I don't think they are intentionally keeping it close (in fact I know Jason would like to take the lead) but that both dogs are winning all over the country and so it's making for a tight Series this year. I'm getting ready to put an update of what we have as far as Purina Point for both the hunt and the show.

Sorry bout the confusion! By they I ment Purina contenders are really battling it out this year. Had the chance to see Dixie hunt and heard that the Awesome dog was really nice also. If they keep it up it could be a race to remember. I know I will be keeping an eye on these two over the next couple months. Again sorry for any confusion!
