Breeding Question
wanting to breed an older male 12 y/o
is there any thing that will keep the pups from being registered?or is there anything we need to do to get the pups registered?? the male has been DNA'd
thought we read somewhere a stipulation on older males
but can't find it now
i dont recon my brother has been breeding his 11 year old dog and besides they take and straw breed dogs that have been dead for a long time

Check the registration page on the UKC site, it talks about it on there.
2 years ago I registered a litter out of my 12 year old male. He was DNA'd but I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

• If the sire of a litter is less than 8 months of age or more than 12 years of age on the date of breeding, UKC reserves the right to require that the sire and dam, and at least one puppy from the litter be DNA profiled through UKC and the parentage verified before registering the litter, at the litter owner’s expense.
thanks guys
