Stories about Doc

Just wanted to ad another, even though the blk and tan issue is already out. When I first met Doc, I was in aw of him. Probably because of all his winning. All that we're interviewed forgot a couple other dogs that he owned or co-owned. First was a dog named GRNT Shaker Hill George. I never had the opertunaty to hunt with him, but I know he was a great reproducer. The next do was co-owned with Joe Brady. NTCH Shaker Hill Judy. She was the high scoring Black and Tan female in the 1980 UKC World Hunt. I did get to hunt with her several times. She was all coon dog. We will miss you Doc.

Doc is surley missed.
I was looking at a picture of him on his mule in one of my yearbooks a couple days ago.

Hunting with "The coon doctor" was always an experience... hunting with him several years ago at his place. Boss gets deep and hooked. He says I need you to go get Boss,but keep your light off till you get there.. And go strighr threw till you hit the other road,and stayvin the ditch till i get there..So off I go,through a barn yard,under clothes lines, through a new development, finally get to Boss,and to the other road. Doc comes along,picks us up,them tells me about the butt chewin' he got the week before,from the housing development president,and the guy who's barnyard I snuck through.. Doc told me if they would have caught him in there the sheriff would get called.And if they caught me they would have chewed my butt and sent me on,cause they didn't know me.. lol!!
