UKC spelled my dogs name wrong

Just got my pup papers in and the name is spelled wrong instead of "sambo" it says "smabo" how do I go about fixing this I didn't miss spell it on my paperwork and I know I didn't cause I made copies

No, but they do require you send the papers back. Just right on there what happened and the correct name. I just went through this not long ago. They had Treeing Walker on mine instead of English. Did not even notice it for 3 months. I check my papers closely know.

That is wrong.Yes you do have to send the papers back.But if the name is spelled wrong you have to pay for a new set of papers to get it fixed.UKC isn't to blame for misspelled names.It says so right on the papers somewhere.Though if you do have a copy you made before sending them off that shows the correct spelling you may not have to pay.Mixing up the breed is not even close to being the same as spelling the name wrong.That part is on them

NAME SPELLED WRONG

Since you have a copy, I would get their Fax # Tell them what happened & Fax the Copy you have, Attention to the person you talked to. Since it was thier fault. They probably won't charge you.
Might still have to mail them the incorrect papers.

I had one about 2-3 years ago, I sent them back and they fixed them free of charge... call and talk to someone.

Mine was a total wrong word, instead of "rave rockin roxie" they put "rave rockin rave"

Thank you mrs.hunderman I was wondering if i have to send in my easy entry cards also. I ordered two will you be able to send me two new ones with the correction If send back the old ones?
