Wicked Wanda

Richard brought Wicked Wanda back to Virginia when we had the cabin hunt. Pastor Mike made two drags on that Saturday I was well pleased with Wanda. Bubby and I took her that night for the first time to the woods. He has been taking her on the farm in the day. Well, he took Wicked Wanda hunt solo only the second time at night.

Wilma is really looking good now. Jason has done a great job getting her ready. Every time I hunt her with someone they want to try and buy her, even 2 of the walker guys in my cast at the babystakes. The King did a great job in his cast at the babystakes also. He treed the only coon all by himself but the cast had voted to call time out so they would not score it.
This whole litter is really something. I want to see Wendy make Gr Nt Ch but I also can't wait for her to come in heat so that I can breed her to Boone.

I found out this morning that out of 4 Redbones entered, Wilma also won High Scoring Redbone at the Bluetick Reunion. I hope that it is the first of many more to come.

Crazy James called me to say that he put King in a hunt this weekend. He was winning the cast with a big enough score to get a first place win with 10 minutes left to hunt when King treed a squirrel. I guess that is what you get when you start a pup with your squirrel dogs. Oh well, that is 3 from this litter that are ready for the hunts at 11 mos old. Maybe Bond will get Rachel out soon and I know that it won't be long before Bubby has Wanda ready to go.
