I have a 4 1/2 month old that ran a deer yesterday and treed a squirrel today with a screaming bawl mouth. It sure makes it fun.

sounds like the makings of a fine dog once you get him lined out . I love trashy pups , it just shows they have plenty of hunt and drive ,

Good. U got something to work with. Way better than standing at your feet. Should make you a good one. If they run a deer and tree a squirrel then it will tree a coon. He starts treeing coon he will quit treeing squirrel. And running deer.

treeing off game and running deer.

at 4 or 5 months you have a lot of time to get a small problem like yours corrected.. Kenny is right about what he said ,at least he's not under foot ..you can trash brake one easier than cast one ..if it was me I would start to show him coon now and nothing else..definitely don't shoot him , can not for the life of me understand why some idiot would rather shoot a young pup ,rather than take the time to put a little work into one..that's the kind of man that buys a dog already titled and tells you what a great trainer he is..lol..

Milner, That little female might bust even John Logan's wallet. Steven has a brother running too and another one is running and treeing a drag. My female hunts the woods over for anything that smells. Turned 5 months on the 4th.

when she trees a coon by herself in that briar patch you hunt in give me a call. I can borrow some Ben Franklins from ole Bobby Barber and pick her up.
