Gators and Buddies in the night hunts.

How many of you boys have been drawed out with a gator and let it go cause it was a buddy? How many will admit it? I know where boys was so close they went to the woods almost holding hands and come out ready to divorce and then renew their vows a few days later.Haha. What is sad is when a dog that should have been scratched gets a win. That is some of that you scratch my back and ill kiss your @$$!!!! Or it may just be unconditional love.Bahahahaha....

Never!!! I will shoot my dog for being Ill and if mine gets in a fight on a hunt will scratch him and take it to the master of hounds to be wrote up. With that being said I drew one 2 years in a row same dog I scratched us both for fighting first drop the 2ND year I pulled my female out of the box and he growled at her and I told him before we ever cut lose you sob if he jumps on that female I will kill him and if you try to stop it you both will be laying in the woods. He withdrew and went home that's the last night he ever comp hunted him

I'm with you Forrest end it one way or another. Now holding hands and taking vows is a whole nother story unconditional love not words I relate to coon hunting but evidently some do haha. Joey I'm liking my pup smart thang . Been walking him want be long he's going to get after it.

Interesting subject. Folks forget that the top of the score card says honor rules. People get obsessed with winning and that's it. People wanting to circle slick trees is another issue. Just go by the rules. Buddy system is hard to beat.

Mark, Heard alot about boys using the Buddy numbers to get them cheaps wins. I'll be the first one to minus my dog if he screws up. A dog is a dog, accept it and move on. Dont circle him up on a slick and hope for the best on the next drop. If you have to help ur dog win, there is no reason to brag about a win. Haha..... Word gets out quick.

Yep lotta that goes on but i gotta say ,there is still some good casts out there also. I drew out with two walkers and a bluedog saturday night.Those men called there dogs for what they did.Took our minus and hunted on. It was a great time and a good hunt. I must say ,i enjoyed myself,even when i was behind !!!!

Crazy thing is ... coonhunting is supposed to be grassroots and one of the last true sports that isn't about money or cheating ... the folks that twist into into something else or cheat and lie are really a special kind of poor character ....

What's sad is that it happens win at all cost, get that tittle at all costs, and then breed that same garbage that for one hasn't earned anything other than maybe a dirt knap and on ill dogs don't mind one havering a med fuse but if pushed enough he or she should give a warning shot and if that don't work maybe unload both barrels but out right nasty hound dirt knap time, and saved the best for last some people will reply to this post and 1, they are part of the cheating buddy buddy, win by pitching, paying any local trick in the book and what's funny they think they are getting away with it, but it's a small world and we all know who the are

Its sad.to know you won a hunt like that or helped someone win and get on the board and blow up a win that's not worthy.
