k light xl charging

I just bought a k light xl and I was wondering if I need to run the battery all the way down before charging or not.

You shouldnt have to I bought one a few weeks ago and just charged it right of the box.

I've had a beacon for almost 2 years now, you do not have to run the battery down I usually charge mine after about every third hunt depending on how much shining I do. Never seen it run down
