What has Bart been up to lately? Breeding wise

I haven't seen him go yet, but I heard he's a coondog. How is he producing? What can you tell me about Bart? He breeding any females in the future?

Bart has not bred any females for awhile....

Reports on his pups as far as looks is that he marks them with his head...they are all pin headed like him besides a male I seen that Travis Hauck has that is a decent looking but absolutely handsome for a Bart pup...

He likes to throw some color in with his pups....chrome on some chest and some frosty toes....

Hustle wise is some go hunting real fast which is not Bart's style, some are just lope out like he does and some won't hunt at all...

I've personally seen one independent Bart pup that will not tree with another hound and know of two from a different cross that step in the same tracks of the one they're following....

All the female pups out of him that I've personally heard have a better mouth than their mother....mostly squall-bawl on track with a chop on tree....I have heard one male bark...he has a good mouth but nothing like Bart's as far has tone and volume...everyone I have talked to are real happy with the mouth on a Bart pup... Some may not be though...

As far as Bart he is pin headed for his size, he lacks in what I call "Hustle"...I've seen him in thin coon and he looks like a complete idiot..he will generally follow a female when you cut loose..what he excels at is track speed, accuracy, and has a beautiful of a locate and stay put treedog a person would want...he has lost some volume in his age but he sure does sound purdy to me still...

To sum everything up...If you got a Bart pup it's probably pin headed, with some bling on its chest, possibly a frosty toe and a better than average mouth..

Bart is pure "Pleasure" to hunt...

I forgot to mention as far as off game with Bart.... I've seen him split tree from another hound 30yds apart... He had a possum and was proud of it and the other dog had two coon....that is the only possum he has treed for me...

No deer problems but would bet money he put in on a coyote one night with my buddy's walker pup when the coons weren't moving....Bart didn't say a word but the garmin don't lie....

I'd rather read a dog description from Gabe Regot than from ANYBODY else in this breed. You get FACTS, the good stuff , and warts and all. You don't even need to go hunting with the dog to find out.

NO agenda , No Bull %@#*... Go read it again.

Lord, if only everybody else out there could tell it this way.

I know all about a tail gating stud dog... I cut mine loose with a female the other night and I don't believe he ever got more than 3 feet away from her all night long.... He was in LOOOOVVVVEEE.

Doesn't get ANY better than that. And guess what, from all I've read and heard Bart is still at the top IMO of b&t active studs

It's sounds like he got Bart's personality and physical build, he got his color and head from his momma'a side.....keep me informed on his progress..

I know they are a lot of pups out of Bart that I haven't seen... The examples are what I have seen or heard about...

Guys I learned early in life to call it like you see them....got to be honest with yourself before you can learn to be honest to other people...

Thanks for the kind words everyone on Bart and myself..

John,

I think he moves a rough track decent..not real fast, he takes his time.... I wish he was faster as I see my fair share of dens with him on them cold nights...you can tell when he stands on his head he will not say much if any on the ground after he strikes..

I've dropped in the same spot 50 different times and I know the amount of coon in there...when the coons aren't getting out of their dens he likes to tree lay ups....he's about 40-60% accurate if I had to guess when this happens...I'm counting dens as having the grease in that percent...he just falls treed with 3-5 long dying bawls and turns it over to a constant chop.....I think he gets frustated when coons aren't moving and he takes a lot more of a chance on winding them....I say that because when he trails one in its rare you don't see a coon or a den...

The truth is Bart doesn't do anything fast guys....he is what I call the ultimate pleasure mans dog and he just trees raccoons with a little bit of pizazz... If he didn't have his big mouth and beautiful locate he would most likely be what people call your "average" hide dog with a great personality...he is your standard truck you get from the dealer with a couple nice accessories like power windows and power locks..

I am lucky to have the opportunity to own Bart....he is a lot of fun to go tree coons with and sit on the tailgate and sip on a nice cold tasty beverage...he even likes to enjoy a cold one...Thanks Marvin Merner for that tip...

My money is on you for the drop kick night but will give a close second to Nick Miller definitely if he has is size 15 Nike Air Pumps on from High School..

We need to set a speed bag up for Mr. Leathers....I witnessed his hand speed last night after Willie was trying to put his will on a female last night in the dog box...I was shouting "Ali Bomaye".... "Ali Bomaye"....The man missed his calling as a boxer....I'm going to walk right up and say something bad about someone's mother at B&T Days with Jrod and Nick in tow....I'm putting their head in my Armpit and Jrod is going to blast them in the ribs and Nick is going to come off the top rope.....if we our getting our hinies handed to us please come with your world famous drop kick...

That was a very humble description of poor old bart, he may be older now and breeding a few females will make a male dog go goofy but Bart has the right stuff.......... does he lack some hustle ? sure. But he doesn't stand at your feet and in his prime he would flat cover up any of these yippy cur mouth black and tans of today! You cant coach or train a dog to be a stay put, one bark, million dollar locate tree dog, they are born with it or with out and bart is all of the above!!

I'm describe Bart in the same humble about way you describe Scooby....Scoob is the best Black and Tan alive in my opinion and that's the most honest thing I've said in this entire post....Too bad for Scoob that the Queen says my opinion on certain issues is not needed....I'm guessing you are going to agree with her on on this issue....

evaluate please

Had some friends down from Indiana last week too do some hunting . We cut a couple dogs one way and cut my six year old the other. The six year old treed one about three hundred yards in a hurry. We cut him again, by that time the other two idiots was treed 1.3 with coon.We then proceeded to the six year old who was tree treed solid with his first opossum and supprisingly proud of himself. Mr. Regot what would it cost me too send him your way for a profesional evaluation for a couple of weeks.

Gabe I remember that night. You got to see how quick Henry can call a dog treed. Or maybe you were the only one that couldn't here Bart come up on that tree. LOL

Travis (IF) Casey needs any work you know where to send him!
