Rule Senario

2 dog cast.

Dog A is struck and treed for 100 and 125.


Dog B strikes for 75 after A was treed so a line is under his strike.

Tree closes and B is never treed. Cast gets to the tree and both dogs are treeing.

Tree is scored as a slick tree.

What does dog B get?

delete strike and next available tree which is 75 and minus it. if dog is there when u get there. same results if it were off game also. if comes in after u just delete strike and go on.

Now imagine the same senario but hunt time runs out. Dog A is treed and Dog B is shut out. As 5 expires on the tree so does hunt time. When cast arrives B is there treeing.

Nothing. Would not got any points on strike anyway cause it was shut out on strike. And dog was never treed. Only way strike points can be minus is if a coon is seen. Which it was not.
Dog A 225 -. Dog B strike points are circled. 75 circle. If dog b was handled at the tree that it was shut out on and was never treed.

Nothing. I don't think you can score ANY dog after hunt time expires except the dog(s) declared treed before time expires.

no circle just delete. when hunt time expires you delete all strikes on dogs that have not been declared treed and it will eliminate lots of problems.

Was the tree closed when dog B came in and started treeing or was it still open???

Delete strike....nothing on tree.... Good question though.. Hes not held responsible, same as a dog that isnt forced to tree with 4 minutes left in the hunt.
