Lost my old dog

Had to have him put down this morning due to cancer in his neck. He went back to Allegheny Rackett. I have a female out of him that I recently bred. That's the only surviving dog out of him that I know of. Tried to have him bred and pulled last couple years but he was sterile. He will be greatly missed.

Them old dogs are hard to replace, but you will always see there traits in the young ones. Sorry for the loss.

..

They sure are. I'm hoping this litter of pups I have show him in them. He was a heck of a bear dog.

Old dog

Sorry to hear that, one dog can make a big dif in a pack an can never be completely replaced . Weather it's just there outstanding ability or the confidence grown that comes with one spending yrs in the field with each other. Hope u find a new one in Ur new litter.

He will be missed for all the reasons. Just have to give all the others the lead role and let one try and feel his foot steps.
