Same here got a up and coming young gyp would like to breed

I bred my female to clean and the pups are 14 months old now. Ive gotten good reports from all of them except 1. The pup I kept is a male, and at 9 months old he had a very severe accident and spent 3 months of what should have been valuble training time in the kennel. He will run and tree but he has yet to show me anything "special". But like I said hes been through alot and may not ever be the hound he should have been.

The other pups are doing great and ready for comp hunts this spring (from what ive heard).

Not to take anything away from Mr. Clean cause hes obviously a coondog, But im gonna give alot of the pups success credit to there mother. She is a COONDOG. (but i have to show a little favortism considering I own her. lol)

I see that your from N.C. you could possibly have a pup out of the litter I raised. What is the mother?

One of Mr. Cleans pups, Nite Ch. North Mountain Ruger just won 3rd place at SETWD in N.C. I have a pup of his and he is only 7 months old but looking better every day.

I don't know why he is not promoted more other than to say it could be that the owner is a little particular of the females he is bred to. It seems like if you have a really good dog and advertise him you either have to breed the females that respond or have a good speech prepared why you might not breed to them. I wish I had this problem but if you think about it, it must really be a tough call. Being picky about the females you breed your male to is one way of helping to get the percentage up. Breeding every female that responds will get you a new truck, etc.

I GOT ONE

GR CH.GRAND NITE CH.WAIDMASTERS MR. FREIGHTRAIN HTX IS IN GEORGIA FINISHED IN THE HUNTS BEFORE TWO YEARS OLD.COON DOG PERIOD ,PICTURES ON THE STUD DOG BOARD

After he won the world hunt it seemed everybody and their brother bred to him. I've only seen a handful of dogs sired by Clean and haven't seen much I liked .

Just because a stud dog wins big and is a coondog themselves doesn't mean they are a good reporoducer.
