Demodectic Mange

Anyone know anything about this , or any good cures. Got a friends pet that has it. Thanks for the help

.5 ml per 100 lbs. body weight of Ivermectin in dogs. Can be injected under the skin, or just shoot it in their mouth. If it is in small patches, you can cut the Ivomec with water, and rub it directly on the affected area.

When I dealt with this, my vet prescribed a topical called Certifec. In a more frequent application than recommended on the label but I don't remember the exact routine. It worked.

had a dog that had it around his eyes. was on ivomec orally daily for 1 month. vet told me all dogs have it but their immune system generally keeps it in check, unless they become immune compromised from illness or surgery.
