Treeing Contest/Roll Cage/Dog Swap Central MO

Coon dog swap in Central Missouri

April 19--Occurs every third saturday of every month.
Treeing Contest and Roll Cage Contest begin at 10:00 a.m. Prize for first place in both contests. $3 entry.

Coondog and coon hunting supply swap meet Saturday April 19, 2014 in Roanoke Missouri. Right off of Highway 3 in Roanoke on East side of Hwy. 3 in town.

A VENDOR WILL BE AT THIS EVENT SELLING COLLARS, TAGS, AND OTHER ASSORTED HOUND PRODUCTS.

Coon hounds and supplies, lights and anything else that people might bring. Feel free to bring any supplies, no charge to sell or buy or attend. Just come by for the fellowship.
chilli/bean meal for donation.
The trading and stories starts around 8:30 a.m. and will go until people leave.

Treeing Contest and Roll Cage Contest begin at 10:00 a.m. Prize for first place in both contests.

A vendor is planning on attending this Saturday and will have hound supplies.

We also have a trophy for the roll cage contest and a trophy for the treeing contest.

Results from March 15

Thanks to everyone had attended the March 15 event.

The results were:

Bob Gaw of the Moberly area won the roll cage contest.

Pete Berry of Salisbury won the treeing contest.

Thanks to Kevin Mathis for judging, Rick Gray for helping out, and Dick Gray who tried to keep everyone honest. And everyone else who pitched in.

Thanks to Tim Swallow for the trophies.

The next event is april 19. Although the swim pit won't be completed by then, plans are in the works to have completed as soon as possible for water races.

It was a great turnout today.

April 19 results:


In the treeing contest there were 22 dogs.
Bob Gaw of Moberly, Missouri won with his redbone female Chilli Bean. She had 59 barks in 30 seconds.


In the roll cage contest there were also 22 dogs.
Bob Gaw of Moberly, Missouri won with his redbone male Tanner with a time of 6.98 seconds.

Due to the large number of entries, will try to have trophies for several places next month. There were many good dogs entered.

Also, next month the swim pond should be filled up for water races.

The next event is May 17.
