Sportmix Any Good?

I have fed diamond for a couple years and liked it and dogs like it but when i went to get dog food this week they had shuffled the dog foods around at the store and the sportmix was right next to the diamond and was $9 cheaper than the diamond same size bags too both were 40lbs WOW. thats a big difference. I thought i had heard people talk about it being a good feed just wondering. And im not trying to compare it to everthing else out there just want to hear about sportmix. I know purina one and all that might be better but at $40 or mor a bag im not buying. I could feed my self steaks all the time to but i dont and not paying top dollar for dog food cant afford it.

I feed alot of sportmix to my dogs & have for quite awhile. I have a young dog that im hunting hard thats the lucky 1 & ive been feeding him pro plan performance. To be quite honest about it im still not 100% sure that the purina is what its cracked up to be considering the price. I feed him less purina( not by much) to keep him maintained than I did sportmix & have seen a very small decrease in stool as well. I havent seen much of a difference in the energy department either so im even thinking about putting him back on sportmix as well. So if you want my opinion sportmix makes a very good feed for the $. My dogs all look very good, have minimal stool & plenty of energy. Hope this helps!

SPORTSMIX 26/18

MY SON, MY SELF AND ABOUT 15 OF OUR COYOTE/ COONHUNTIN BUDDYS FEED 26/18 WE BUY IT 4 TONS AT A TIME ,WE ALL HAVE TRYED THE DIFFERENT BRANDS OF DOGFOOD ITS JUST AS GOOD AS ANY OF THE MIDDLE OF THE LINE DOG FOODS BUT SPORTSMIX IS THE TOP OF THE LINE OF THE MIDDLE OF THE LINE DOGGFOODS OUR COYOTE HOUNDS ARE HUNTED HARD REAL HARD THIS TIME OF YEAR.WE HAVE A COUPLE HOUNDS THAT JUST HAS A DIFFERENT METABOLIZIM AND DONT DO GOOD ON ANY DOGFOOD SO WE JUST GIVE THEM ALL EXTRA DAILEY SUPPLIMENTS. SO OUR OPINION ,,SPORTSMIX 26/18 IS ONE OF THE BEST AND PRICED RIGHT AND YA REALLY SAVE BUYING IT IN BULK EVEN IF YA BUY A HALF TON WHICH IS 20 BAGS YOU WILL SAVE $ HAVE A BLESSED DAY,,FROM THE RIVERBOTTOM,,,RON

I fed it for quite a few years, dogs did pretty good on it. Just got to where it was getting harder and harder to get so I switched.

blue bag

A cupl yrs ago I was looking for something better than reg purina and at a competitive price. At the advise of Dan Dogs on here I decided to try the blue bag of sportmix...25$/50# bag.......well 2 yrs later I believe Dave was correct...it isnt E.A., but its a very well liked feed by all of my dogs and they are in great shape w soft and shiney coats. Yes, there are better feeds...but not sure there is a better one for the money.

Jmo...pb
