Need Pictures
I am building a web site for a project that I'm working on, and I'm in need of some pictures that I don't have.
I am looking for pictures of big game hounds and running hounds "at work". Need pics of lion, bear, hog, and coyote dogs treeing or baying game.
If you have some pictures that you would allow me rights to publish on the web site I'm working on....let me know. Sure would appreciate it!

pictures
I would not do that....
I'm really curious why you would say that?
If you believe my intentions are bad, please rest assured that they are NOT. I am wanting to use these pictures to PROMOTE the sport of hunting with hounds, not detract from it.
I have recieved a couple that I won't use because they are a little "graphic"....not my intention at all.....
Please explain why you would not do that....I'm really interested.

Oak Ridge,
I think first off alot of us are a bit weary with so many groups trying to take away our sport.....Not saying your intentions are bad,but your description of what you needed is lacking info on why you need photos.....I recently had a call from what was a young man trying to get photos of my dogs on a hunt saying he was doing a report....With a bear referendum at our door here in Maine I declined.....Not that I didnt want to help but dont want to be a poster fella for anything were trying to save.....Some folks intentions are dangerous...... being cautious is normal....With so many groups out to get us photos and videos are our worst enemy! These forums are a great way to discuss our dogs and hunts and meet great people,BUT.....others are always watching too!....A person could simply post a pic of a great day they had with friends and it get turned around or be the picture that these groups use against us in a way that is totally different from what actually happened....Moral to the post is cant blame a man for being cautious,if anything Thunder Valley Outfitters is doing us all a favor.....Hope ya understand the flip side!....

I do indeed understand your dilema.
I'm not asking anyone to post a picture on here for me to copy. And the very last thing that I want to do is to put any hound hunter in jeopardy.
Actually, just the very opposite is true.
In fact, if someone was truly interested, I might allow a select few individuals a "sneak peak" at what we are doing by letting them go to the web site. I truly think that you might be anxious to help out the cause when all is said and done.
We are about to roll out a project that we (my former television show partner and I ) have been working on for a couple of years. We are gathering a pool of individuals and leadership from all aspects of the hound world....and I promise when it gets roling "it will be big", and just the kind of effort that you guys that chase big game with hounds NEED.....
I can't say much more yet, we just are not ready for "prime time"....we are doing the background work....and an announcement is forthcoming....
In the mean time, if anyone has a picture that they would care to share, or if they would like a little more information outside of the public eye...you can email me at joe.newlin@nhtda.org

And to add just a little, these pics don't have to be of dogs "pullin hair".... A nice hound on the side of a tree in broad daylight is GREAT. Action shots are GREAT....just good clean, clear photos of dogs in action...not standing over a dead animal....there is no hero in a dead critter for me....
I'm a big fan of "catch and release" bear hunting or kill em if you got a tag...but I don't want to rub it in an anti hunters face!
