HOOPER RIDGE ENGLISH-Whats your experience

I am in now way a Big Time Breeder of these English hounds, however I have been hunting English hounds and (only) English Hounds my whole life.

With that being said, I am curious to hear from any/all people who may have had a dog with a Hooper Ridge hound in their pedigree. I'm just curious what dog/dogs they may be out of, what (if anything) you like about them, what it is you didn't/don't like about them, (Both the good and the bad)

I have by no means set any records for the number of pups produced, but am curious as to the quality of the dog.

If you raised pups off them, what traits did you see passed on to the pups from the parent.

I owned one called Hooper Ridge Dolly, have you ever heard of her?She was little white dog.I wish I had one just like her !

Hooper Ridge Dolly, I sure do remember her. I took her on her 1st coon hunt, I watched her tree her first coon, I watched her flat pull the eyelids plum off my buddy when I put her in her 1st UKC hunt and drew out with her Grandma,of which my buddy was hunting. I wish she hadn't looked so good that night cause after that he just had to own her. After that my friend Jamie granted her out, sold her to Randy Selby, who then raised a litter of pups off her and Smooth Talking Jed, Randy the sold her to Wyatt Wright, who bred her to Swamp Rooster, And if memory serves me correctly. Mr. Wright sold her to a man named Yarborough, and from there I lost track of her. My Holly Dog I hunt today is out of the Swamp Rooster/Dolly cross In a few days I'll post a picture of her on here.

Dolly was the mother of my Ole Hound Gr.Nt.Ch. Hooper Ridge Rocket. And that is why I took the handle ROCKETMAN

I bought her from Wendell & sold her back to him after I finished hunting her,she was for real.

No i've always been into hunting them, I think Wendell breed her to Roller.
