Anyone ever heard of them. buddy got a pup with pigeon river on the top wondering about the bloodline

Dont think you could go wrong with one of of Jim at all

If you want to know anything about the Pigeon River hounds I would get ahold of Danny Barrett. He would be able to answer any question you might have I bet.

I heard that 1985 coonhunter of the year, Danny Barrett, and Pigeon River Gus The Wonder Dog will be at Southern National Redbone Days this year.

I heard that too Richard! Ol Gus is a good one and I love his personality. Him and Danny make quite a pair don't they.

Rob and Richard..yeah its too bad Im not 25 or 30 anymore or I would put a title on Gus but hes my pal. He goes back to some of the old Ace breeding I once had. Sure wish another Ace would come along and impact the breed as he did..Maybe theres one out there.

Rob, they say that a dog takes after his owner. I think that this may be very true in this case. I wonder if Danny spent all day running around and chasing "rabbits" when he was younger?

a good rabbit dog can fetch a lot of money. and yes I used to chase bunnies when I was younger.
