Its the rut here in north alabama. We shot 4 boar coon in last 2 nights. Kinda hard to figure which coon is the boar when theres 2 or 3 but so far the lowest coon has been the boar

same here last 4 have been good runs 250-1000 yds all males
Has started here
The rut has started in SC the past 2 times I've been we have had long runs. They ran and treed the first about 3/4 of a mile and that one was a big boar. The second time dogs struck on the creek and painted that creek for a mile and a half and said they treed. When we got there they were in a big pushover and both of the dogs were submerged in the pushover had to crawl in to get them out. By the time I got my bluetick out he looked like a redbone with all the dirt he had on him. Lol.

They are around here. About a week ago it went from a few hundred yards to the tree. Now it's 3/4 of a mile or more. Big boar coons every time. Longest track so far was about 1.25 miles. I thought my dog was chasing a deer but he finally treed with a 30lbs boar.
