Boots

Question about boots.
How many of you buy more than one pair of boots per year due to them not holding up ? How many of you think the big boot companies like to sell you more than one pair per year to line their pockets with your hard earned cash. Why should they make something that lasts if we keep buying multiple pairs each year. Is anyone else tired of buying boots that don't last ? Sorry about the rant but just curious what your expierence is with the boots of today.

if the boot makers wanted to they could make boots that last for several years but they're not interested. it like the detroit car makers. they weren't interested in makeing a quality economy car until honda did. of the millions of tires on cars, you almost never hear of one falling apart. there in no reason a boot couldn't be made just as well and i'm not saying it would have to be as heavy as a tire either. all it would take is for japan to make a great boot and the lacrosse folks would change overnight.
they feed us crap and we eat it because that's all there is to eat. i wish they would make a boot with a detachable upper chap. you take the chap with you and put it on if need be. if one wears out you keep the other part and buy the part you need.
