Anyone in MI hunting Tonight? :D

I went out to check some under-ice traps today, and it wasn't fit for man nor beast. I had to stop and take breaks every 100 yards! All of my clothes were frozen solid.

BEN DICKIE AND I WENT LAST NIGHT, DOGS WENT A LONG WAY, 3 WAY SPLIT PROBABLY ALL WITH IN 100 YARDS, MAGIC AND BENNY BOTH HAD COONS AND THE OTHER ONE HAD A DEN.

I let tank go in a 40 acr wood lot that has a nice creek and he ran 1 track into a hole in the side of the bank other wise very quit night 1/4

No I live a lil over a hr south of little rock. My mother lives in search which in not far from Heber springs. No snakes, ticks or chiggers this time of year. Got plenty in the summer though. I stay on my 4 wheeler then. Lol

I know Ben isn't fond of deep snow. I have heard him cursing me as we waded through it a time or two.

He also isn't a fan of walking on a frozen Maple River. That isn't to say he won't. He is just real unhappy when he has to.

By the way, I was asking if anyone was hunting Sunday night! Saturday was balmy out. Sunday, not so much especially with those winds out of the north.

I didn't hunt Sunday night. The temperature was dropping fast and the wind was blowing. I wouldn't walk across the maple river when its frozen either. Not a big fan of frozen rivers. I just don't trust them. Larry, I'll come up there and help.you shovel your roof just as soon as you come down here to pull ticks off me. You first though.

Not sure exactly how I worded our hunt at the fur pick up Ang. Guess I should of went into second to second detail. Benny went a mile and half and treed the only coon we scored on. Dicky treed for a quarter. Hunt time ran up long before we reached them. As we closed in we could tell dickys gyp was split about 75 yards. Then magic climbed on a tree right on top of us. Benny had a open coon. Dash had a den. Magic had a coon in a hole we could see. Geez.... Hunt sucked, coon was not out feeding. Benny got lucky and tripped over a dumb one that was getting a bite of snow.

I sold 25 nice prime coon today for $9 average, I am looking for another way to sell my fur without having ro get bent over by the middle man.

LOL Second to second details are good it doesn't leave anything out that way

See that means you actually seen two coons on the crappiest night of the year and only scored one instead of Benny treeing the only coon of the night. Give the plott dog some credit.
