2014 perdictions

I ask this one every years so here goes again.

What dog is gonna be the big name this year winning big at hunts and turning heads.

What stud dog will prove itself as the next big thing to breed to.

What cross will make it's mark and take a place in history as one that produced.

What handler will be the one to beat, hire or hate ??

Stud Dog Prediction

Pretty soon Andy Companari's GrNt Black Creeks Still Water Chase will have 100 pups on the ground.. He will take over as the number one current reproducer.. I predict that a lot of people will give this dog a hard look when they are looking for something to breed to.. Expecially now that he is in West Virginia...

John Henry will be in the Spot Lite as the next Red Stud Dog for 2014....

Kelly

What were the answers from last year ?

I have a feeling that the jon Henry dog will be talked about and I have a feeling there will be some heavy pepper bred dogs making a little noise !

2014

The only perdiction I can make is that 2014 is going to be an intersting year. Lets all have a great time and make the best of it.
Good luck to all.

There are so many new ones coming.

With all of the great crosses made in the last couple years, there are bound to be a lot of noise made this year.

MY PERDICTIONS

Well starting out with one of the biggest hunt of year & Harris' psycho train is still shining & making a name for himself. No going to blow smoke just stating facts. Train is the one to beat on any cast against any competition.

Train had his cast won on Friday nite at the Grand American but his handler lost it for him. Saturday nite Train said get on board & ride this train. He treed 5 coons & ended with a total score of 1125 plus.
Train is the real deal & I hope everyone will keep him in mind when there females need a stud dog.

Good luck to all the redbones in 2014

Ole Train

Looks like Train is gonna be the 1 to watch guy's!! He made a good showing at the Grand American..

Ole Jon was a few miles down the road at the New Years Jamboree puttting a Lil more Money in Andrew's pocket.. With his wins the weekend he should have about $3000 won since October 1st 2013.. Not bad for 3 months of hunting.

Smile

Good thread, and all good dogs!

As for handlers, I'm waiting on a breakout for young Jacob Bingham over in Iowa. If he gets his hands on "that dog", he's going to be some kinda hard to beat. He's college age now and working, but I hear tell he's getting back into serious hunting, and that's bad new for all that draw out with him.

Good luck all, 2014 should be fun to follow!!!

Posted by Sawblade on 01-08-2014 01:59 AM:

here's a few

I also think we will be hearing about Chase. Just keep in mind once a dog make #1 it seems to cause some to look away. Don't know why.

I think the dogs out of Wisconsin will be winning again this year , They have been making a mark now for sometime.

I am guessing we may have to name a new "King" of handlers sorry Richard but there are plenty of young guys looking at your crown.

I think the Heidi dog will continue to move up, and PepperAnn will be the name that gets printed on a lot of pedigrees in Kalamazoo in 2014.

the big winners will be soup type pedigrees where the best of several lines show up in one dog . I'm gonna say Yellow River/ Ace will be the back bloodlines behind the breeding . Good luck to all.

I hope so. I have been trying to give it up for several years now. I perdict that Train will be the big winner at the Grand American and that Jon Henry will win a lot of money in $KC hunts.
