Tree-knockin Mike

Don't know a lot about the mountain cur bloodlines or stud dogs but is anyone coon hunting dogs out of the Tree-knockin Mike dog. I have a chance to buy a 2 year old male and was wondering what some of the characteristics of his off-spring ie open on track, cold or hot-nosed, hard tree dog or not. I appreciate any info. Thanks.

I have a 4 yo male out of Mike that is a good coon dog, he is open on track, very hard tree dog and hunts hard. Plus Ammo is out of Mike, I haven't hunted with Ammo but he won the OMCBA world coon hunt last year. There are many nice dogs out of Mike but that doesn't mean all are that way, try this dog before you buy it & make sure it suits you.
