I HAVE HAD THIS LIGHT IN THE HANDS OF HARD HUNTERS AND THEY REPORT THEY CAN HUNT FROM DUSK TO DAWN OR TWO ROUNDS IN ANY HUNT WITH NO CONCERN AT ALL.

TO LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD WHEN COMPARING THIS PRODUCT TO THE IMPORTED PLASTIC HEAD MODELS PLEASE USE 150,000 TO 170,000 LUX FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES. SAM AND I HAVE STANDARDIZED THE LUX READING BY COMPARING EVERY KNOWN IMPORTED HEAD AND DEVELOPING A STANDARDIZATION FACTOR. AFTER APPLYING THIS FACTOR THIS IS REASONABLE TO BELIEVE IF THE IMPORTS WERE MARKETING THIS PRODUCT THIS IS THE LUX THEY WOULD CLAIM.

Does the belt light have belt loops on the battery or just a belt clip? Can the belt light be made with a walk light and with a light cord that plugs into the box instead of being wired straight into the box?

Randy it has a belt clip. We could add a walk light but with so much burntime is it necessary? We can make it with an L-plug but if we do we are not responsible for damage from plugging into other products. This thing is tiny!!!!!

I like to see this light compared in the real world with some of the imports I've seen but hey keep talking the talk and maybe you can get 5 to be 10 with your math

Sir, No one can turn 5 into 10. If I could I would not be working. That is exactly the point of scientifically in a controlled environment taking many reading and developing a conversion factor that can be applied to a legitimate meter reading to bring them more in line with reading that are claimed and not measured. Mr. Conrad, Your new light does not look like any of your other models,The head is totaly different from past models.Why the big change in heads? Is this light the very same as old blue from Valley Creek?They both look great....Did you and Mr.Davis come up with this Idea together?

Mr. Richard, Technology dictated the change in geometry of the head. The other models are still and will continue to be top of the line products. As I stated in the original post, Sam and I are great friends and spend a tremendous amount of time working together on many projects and will continue to do so. LOOKS like the sunfire to me just in a different color scheme. If its anywhere near as bright as it, You made a dandy my friend.

Not a Sunfire, Only thing that is the same is the Family of LED's. This light is a total new design. I am sure the Sunfire is a good product and Micheal does a great job. When you see this in person you will see the extremely small footprint of the product and the amazing output. We are very proud of the new "FLAME SERIES" of Bright Eyes Lights.

I purchased this light at the Grand American and have used it twice. I have never seen a light this bright. It appears to be well made and durable. I don't think Brighteyes will be able to make them fast enough to keep up.

I'm anxiously waitin' for mine to get here.....probably have them pre-sold..........I know they'll be great!!
