looks like a-e musta got to thinkin about fireing phil seen where they put him back on the show buddy told me few mins ago that cracker barrel got involed and people were supposed to boycot cracker barrel and they puled out of the issue don't know that to be true but thats what he said

hillbilly i saw that a few mintues ago,they knew they were going to loose a whole lot of money.good americans spoke and a-e heard lol. i never really watched the show before but i will now because there a god fearing family and didnt bow down to them silly clowns in hollyweird.lol

I think it was a hoax too, but not to raise viewership, to help promote the sale of merchandise. I mean seriously it couldn't have been timed better. Phil gets a two week suspension over Christmas time? Meanwhile A and E sticks with their 25 hour Duck Dynasty marathon that ran the day after Christmas. And with all of the talk about the whole thing one week before Christmas they were selling DD merchandise as fast as they could restock shelves. I am sure this whole uproar helped them sell several million$$ more than had it not happened. All of the Phil "loyalists" got to run out and buy DD caps and mugs and give them as Xmas gifts. Doesn't matter whose label it is, they are ALL getting a piece of the pie ($$$) when it is bought. Has Ducky Dynasty name but them boys image on it.......and no doubt those boys are getting paid for their image rights.

lol was over my buddys he came down to the basement said look what i got he got a pair of house slppers that say happy happy happy on them i told him ole phil would be proud of him we supposed to go huntin still watin on him he better show i help him load the box in his truck and unload ton 1/2 of looose shell corn this moroning

Yep, these Hollywood types get their piece of the pie. Anytime there is a bunch of hype coming out of the entertainment industry you can bet they got some inventory to sell.

Speaking of these types of fiascos, I saw a news story the other day that was a follow up to the famous Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson video that came out about 10 years ago. As you all may recall (and maybe some of you own the video) there was an "UNAUTHORIZED" video of Pamela and Tommy getting naked… Pamela was all distraught and was in tears that a video showing her "most personal moments" was being sold over the internet. She was pursuing legal and civil actions to block the sale of the video (she explained with tears running down her face)…… Well, turns out that she in fact had AUTHORIZED the release of said video, it went on to become the best selling video in adult video history and she and Tommy made boatloads of money on it.
I don't put anything past these entertainment types. Say anything, do anything, just so they make a buck….

Good point truly, I'm going to take your word for it. I don't own a a tv. Therefore I know very little about the show itself, however if you notice when he made the comments about the 15 yr old. There was no outrage from these progressive groups over that statement!!! Nobody was demanding that A&E suspend him over that!!! I never heard mention of it until you brought it to my attention! Where was GLÀDD, and the rest of the progressives? I think I know the answer. Silent!! Why because that statement doesn't go against their agenda. However you let that same man quote from 1 Corinthians, and these progressives come to life!! Suddenly he becomes a bigot, and the lefts favorite a hater!!

You notice how the christians also swept it under the rug. Quoting the bible doesn't make you christian,actions. Why would a principled man work for a company that doesn't reflect his ideas and suspended him,money? lol! The one true love that brings people together.
