Cappy is UKC reg. He's not a select sire yet, I can nominate him at any time, and pups will be eligible. Due to the lack of interest in the incentive program, Its hard to pay the money if there is no incentive in doing so. Like I stated, I would and will make him a select sire if there is enough interest. Don't miss out, he truly is a great hound.

Does Cappy have a nice mouth, volume wise?

Is he close in the check area, not UKC close....lol.

10-15 yards close.

I have a female that may make for a nice cross on him. She has an IFC brother and another FC sister. She is no slouch herself. She has large pack places on hare. She just needs a touch of foot and grab and go in the check. She lacks in no other area.

Jim, Cap, has a squall, with a chop. He has a bark that can definitely be picked out immediately. He opens when its a hot track, no cold nose here. He does have a great nose though, but uses it great . From the amount of time that I've had him and ran him, I like his check work ability. He really stays close in check, works pretty close inside to out. He runs pretty clean with good line and foot. Plus he's almost 8, really would've liked to of had him a few years ago. I ran with a nice male off of Cappy.

He is a powerful hound with a nice squall mouth and speed to burn. Front end WITH control, not front end out of control...lol, big difference.

Head down in the check and came out hard. I am going to try to get something to this hound.

Leon can get it done! Don't overlook an AKC IFC, I know UKC guys get hung up on speed and lack of hunt in AKC hounds.

If you are over in Gilbert WV, look up Lowell Smith and ask him to run Leon. You won't see him long as he will be gone jumping a rabbit, then you will see him driving the pack around...lol.

Top for a producer in any format!

Cappy getting Green Bay Sassy Magoo as soon as she comes in, should be in the next weeks to month.

I have guys calling from all over the country for pups out of Cappy. I know I am bringing a nice female, but ole Cappy must throw nice ones!!

I have seen one in person, tried to buy him.....LOL. couldn't. Gentleman and I spoke yesterday he is on the list for a big male, says he wants another Leon.

Excited for the cross!!!

Thanks Jim, For bringing Sassy to Cappy. Got to run her today with my Dixie female. They ran great together. Should be a great cross. Sassy is a littermate to IFC Greenbay Butkus. Should'nt have any problem finding homes for these pups.

My Dixie female is in heat now, will be breeding her to Cappy early next week. Also my Shooter (Double Ranger Dan female) will be bred to him in a few weeks. Will keep posted.

Cappy should add control and foot to any line, he is from quick and controlled hounds. They drive a track not just hit and miss, but consistent producers of hard hitters.

His pedigree is second to none if you are looking at overall reproducers. Lines of great hounds, not just a couple one hit wonders...

Two of my females are currently bred to Cappy, Both due at the end of May to first week in June. Dixie and Sally are both great hounds. Dixie ( Sire D&K's Tuff enough x Stanleys Pearl). Tuff's AKC Name Branko's Holstein.
Sally (IFC Green bay Shooter x Snow runs Molly)

Booking pups now, pm me or give me a call. I work evenings. Call after 1pm daily.

I talked to Brandon Labombard last night, you were correct Levi did die young, 5. It was his younger brother Ripper that Brandon said was still alive, but he said he was no where near the hound Levi was.

Cappys looking really good in the field, getting him tuned up for the NBC Triple Challenge in May. Ran him last night. Put over 12 miles of pounding on him. Still running great at 8. Cappy Still Going Strong

Cappy finished 6th over-all out of 30 at the NBC Triple Challenge. He also finished 4th in the Large Pack Stakes. Not bad for the ole' guy. First trial for him in over 6 years since the Trial of Champions.
