School Shooter

Karl Halverson Pierson was a far left progressive who mocked Republicans on his Facebook page and was against gun rights for legal owners. Isn’t that amazing, that a left wing nut job, against gun rights for legal owners is responsible for the Arapahoe High School shooting today. He is now dead, and there is reportedly one person in critical condition.

I seriously doubt that this kids political views or his stance for or against gun control was his problem.

I do fully believe that his problem was a lack of what he did not have in his young life, not something that he had in his young life.
Now I am not sure about this kid in particular, but I can guarantee that had he had discipline and respect for others (mainly teachers) you would not be hearing about this because it most likely would not have happened.

You can blame this and that and anything else, but I am telling you America today is without respect for others and worse than that is without respect for one's own self. It is NOT political, it is a SHAME!

Stop trying to make it a Left or Right thing, someone like him, that has the guts to go to a school and do that, we'll they have more issues than their political diffs..........

It doesnt take "guts"..... The Liberal gun grabbing nuts have created "GUN FREE" zones that allow the nuts to do as they please with no one shooting back.
When i was in school the parking lot was full of p/u trucks with a shotgun or rifle in the back window, and there wasnt a single school shooting.

You mean it wasn't just a down south thing , shoot I can remember kids catching the bus fresh from the goose blinds , old long toms in hand . Just about every old truck on parking lot had a shotgun or rifle in back window, and that was students and teachers alike .

The differance in liberals/democrats and republicans. If a liberal/democrat doesn't want a gun he thinks they should be banned. If a republican doesn't want a gun he doesn't buy one.

FWIW, Track and Triple K, While Bob and I see politics and philosophy from very different angles, I wouldn't be attacking his "toughness". For a 74 year old guy, Bob is plenty tough both in physique and character.
That being said, Bob, I think as we get to know more about the shooter he is pretty different than you portrayed. One of his classmates said something about him ranting about how America was all communist and the big government was gonna take over. Not unlike many of the posters on this site…. BUt we will see….

Assumption....every conversation about Obama are full of them but I didn't mention your name. Lie....knowing spreading fasle accusations.Civil conversation is when i agree with others with whom I disagree. I don't trust the Gov.either and I grew up in a small town located in the south. i've had one of the few opportunities to work with a school shooter, after the shooting and i can say that i think generally there is alot of warning signs its just that people, really have their heads in the sand about things, no one wants to believe it will happen etc..

The Media has created a monster ! Every single one of these misguided , mentally ill or whatever other problem they have , know that they will receive recognition for their spree on the national level . For many it is the attention they feel they must get for their cause to be finally recognized . Nearly everyone of these kids has been "different" ,"mis-fit" or an "outsider" of some sorts , some suffered from mental illness some not . Much like suiside is a long term solution to a short term problem ... these same kids can't see past the here & now . High school /middle school & who you were friends with or how you got along with teachers & staff ,who liked you who didn't - don't make a rat's *** down the road . Violent video games do not help our culture either . IMO many young children become numb to death , blood & distruction . If you have a teenager who would rather sit in his room alone playing violent video games ,writing violent lyrics or stories, listening to violent musicalone rather than hanging out with his friends you could have a problem . There are many different social groups w/ teenagers (just stating a fact ) & a group for all - rich , poor , jocks or not , band geeks , pot-heads ,even the strangest acting have their own group of friends they hang with . Walk around any mall and you'll see them lol . I realize Columbine was a group effort but as a whole these kids are lone wolves . Parents need to get back to parenting at a young age spending time with their kids listening & being envolved .
