Pups not eating much
I have a 6 month old pup that's not eating nearly as much as she was. I'm feeding diamond high energy. She use to scarf it down but now that it's cold she's barely eating half of what she use to. She acts fine other than getting out of her box slower than normal. Any help or suggestions will help thanks.
if you feed dry you need to start soaking her feed in hot water and mix some beefor chicken broth in it she wikk stay hydrated that way i feed wet yr round but thats just me hope this helps if she don't start eating you may need to take her to the vet to get checked out
I tried puting water in it and it helped a little. She eats it when you hand feed it but acts like she don't really want to chew it. Like it takes her a couple seconds just to eat one piece. Thank you
Diamond high energy ant very high quality feed.Sounds to me like she is burnt out on the way it tastes.I feed my hounds Diamond Naturals and Extreme Athlete. They sure like the way it tastes. If your dog won't eat that soaked in warm water it is sick.Goodluck

I'm feeding my pups Diamond Extreme Athlete and they look awesome. From what I've seen it's better than puppy food. They eat it up.Cost alittle extra but it's worth it.

lota people not gonna agree but if you can get joy 24/20 and feet it wet it will put the weight on her gauranteed i didn't think i would like it but a buddy of mine start selling it i try it and dogs do really good on it and clean all of it up everyday
Try adding a can of tuna or can of chicken to her feed a couple times a week. I also save all left over cooking oil, and mix it in their feed a couple times a week as well. The rest of the week I just feed them dry dog food. Done this for years, it's cheap, and I've never had trouble keeping weight on a dog, even when I hunt hard 7 nights a week.

I would start by checking out it's mouth, at that age pup teeth come out and new teeth are coming. Could be a infection in it's mouth too. Anyway, check out its mouth.
