Thickness of hair
I have 2 different hounds at home both females and both walkers. I live in Iowa and as everyone knows it is cold today.
The walker female we call Trixie is 2 years old out of Stylish Harry and a Grand nt ch female out of Cold Sweat. Her hair is smooth and short and she is cold being outside of the dog house today because it's 8 degrees out!!!!!
The second female is 7 months old her sire is Cash (Somewheres Banker X Cold Blooded Lady) her dam Nt ch Kody (Grand nt ch Stylish Kane X Old School Trouble). She has a nice thicker coat and the cold don't bother her at all. Is it the wipeout breeding in her that brings that heavier coat out.
