Matt Blalock and Minnie came over to hunt this weekend. We coon hunted last night and shined 5 coons shot 3 and also treed 2 opossums. ;D One opossum we shot after we resent the dogs. It was really unique and solid black. I tried to get Matt to carry it back he bout uke1: from it's smell. :lol: The coons were running last night in this full moon. The 1st coon tree was around 1.3 mile, one was 1.1 mile, one was 1.6 mile, and one was .9 mile. :stunned: who says cur dogs don't range out. :cheese: :icon_smoke:

We got this morning to squirrel hunt.....but they did not cooperate. :thumbdown: Most trees were dens and LONG walks but we managed to knock out 3 squirrels. Just got done eating a T-Bone Steak and getting ready to hit the coon woods if the rain will slack up alittle.

Still at it....

Hunted last night till 2am and didn't tree anything but a opossum. NOTHING moved. :suicide: But we got back after the squirrels this morning after they didn't move the other day. Today was awesome! We hunted Minnie and Jinx only and we missed our 2 Man Limit by 1 squirrel and let 6 get away and had to leave one cause Jinx treed about 40yds from a deer hunter (rifle season) on somebodies elses land. I apologized and he was cool about it. I just petted her up and walked her out. So now it's time for Mexican Food then back to the woods for a coon hunt to redeem ourselves after last night.

That's some nice hunts and great pictures. R U going to mount the Black possum. That is a first for me to see one that Black.

Good hunts ! We ran one of them midnight possums over 800 yds through laurel thickets and clear cuts the other night. Took m about 45 minute to tree that little sucker. I wasnt happy.

Good lookin dogs. Sounds like y'all are having a ball. We call them black jack possums in georgia.Walk up and kick an ol dead cow and see how many runs out. Lol

Aint never seen a possum like that. Good hunt!
