just wandering what others use in there indoor kennels

I have been using cedar chips for ever, and winter time I use hay (not straw). But just wandering what some others use? Been thinking of buying some custom pads. They have heat .

Any input Thanks

I keep my kennel in the low too mid fifties during the winter months I have rubber cow mats from tsc cut and fitted in each house I used pine shavings or cedar shavings for years I just bought 2 bales of golden oat straw and the dogs love it I see no problem with using hay just never done it the cedar shavings are the most expensive at 8.50 a bag they are suppose to keep the fleas away not sure how well that works as i still have to dip dogs regularly basis

I USE

SUDEX HAY ,,IT IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF HAY THAT THEY FEED RACE HORSES,ITS REALLY GREEN WITH A GOOD SMELL .IT NEVER FLATENS OUT LIKE STRAW,OR GRASS HAY.WHEN YOU PUT IT IN THE DOG HOUSES MOST OF MY DOGS MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A BIRDS NEST,IN THE SPRING WHEN I CHANGE IT AND CLEAN DOG HOUSES ,IT SMELLS AND IS JUST LIKE IT WAS WHEN I PUT IT IN THERE ,IT SEEMS TO HELP WITH FLEAS SOME TO .I DONT KNOW IF YOU CAN FIND IT WHERE YOU LIVE BUT THATS ALL I USE.HAVE A BLESSED ONE ,,FROM THE RIVERBOTTOM,,,RON
