Flea,Eggs killing Pill? No more spraying!!!

Hi,i saw a Thread a few weeks back on Flea Prevention and elimination.Im done and tired of Spraying!.Hard time getting the hounds to lay still as it is and isn't working seems!.just not killing them all with spraying.i think i saw there's pills to kill Fleas and eggs too?.if there is?please tell me the Best or recommend Pills and where to buy or a link to buy thanks all.i also use Seven 5 in ther bedding and around the kennel.Theo

The pill is Comfortis it breaks the fleas life cycle . This pill will kill every flea on your dog & any flea that would jump on them...they work ! I buy the pill for up to 120lbs and cut them in half to treat 2 dogs (they still work I've done this for 4 yrs even chop up in small peices for the house dog & squirrel dogs). I buy mine @ vets office but you can order them from CanadaVet.com a good friend of mine oders from them ,they sell all sorts of name brand pet meds @ fair prices & it's still the real stuff.
1/2 a pill every 30 days for normal grown hounds...

confortis pill from vet works great!! put only kills fleas on the dog.

use boric acid POWDER to kill fleas,eggs and larva.
dust it around like baby powder.
cheap from dollar general

boric acid is deadly if inhaled and im sure is not good if they lick it, like when they play with each other and play bite.

cheapest Ive found. there is a discrepancy in the weight it covers for the ex large (brown) box. I contacted the company to clarify and they said they (UK) use more of the ingredient than the US does so even tho theirs says 51-80# where US says 60-120#, it was the same dosage and would work just like the US version.

Apparently nearly all on-line purchases of Comfortis require a prescription so you may have to get on from from your vet if they don't sell it . You could buy it in Canada & Australia without one but now if it's shipped to someone in US you need a script . I'm checking with one out of Australia that wasn't requiring one if they still aren't I'll post it. All on-line purchases from US sites require one now. But there are several that do sell it @ a resonable price for how well it works ...compared to what spend on sprays ,dips & powders.
Comfortis doesn't kill the flea eggs & larva but the life cycle of fleas is broken. When they bite dog the flea dies within 30 min...your dog will be flea free in 4 hrs or less & you won't find a flea on them for atleast 30 days.

the comforitis pill is the best thing going you won't see a flea and if theres fleas on them they are dead witin a few hrs

Theo you get to careful when ordering meds from foreign pharmacys..Many times the meds are not whats advertised..You may be better ordering from Jeffers or Dr smith..You might look into a blue tag you attach to hounds collar from Conkey Outdoors in Fl. I use them and they work great for feas and ticks..Never a problem.
