UCE Question

How many of you use the UKC websites Upcoming Events Listing as your primary source for event information?

How many of you refer to the UCE listing in COONHOUND BLOODLINES?

How many use both?

I have another question separate from the poll:

Would you find using your zip code and several radius options useful when searching for events online?

Several weeks ago we asked our webmaster to work on such an option. He's just now completed the first version and we're looking for any bugs before we launch it. I think it's a pretty sweet option and think you will like it.

I use the magazine primarily but have checked the schedule in both. Are both of the the official last word?

Current rules have both being the official last word. But..... I've been thinking maybe it's time to allow the online UCE to be the final word. Hence, the poll.

I think it would be a wonderful idea.... as a matter of fact i asked about it back of this but never got an answer.... but for people like me its a wonderful tool to be able to use. i live in Madison county in North Carolina and can be in Tennessee in a half hour. Lower Virginia in an hour. south Carolina in an hour and the tip of Georgia in an hour and a half. and that's all within my acceptable range for going to a hunt or show.

Huge strides in the last several weeks during the government shut down.

I use UKC website and search the states.
As i live in very southern Mi.
,so i"m close to In. and Oh. state lines.

I love the idea of being able to enter your zip and search in a mile radius.

I use the website 95% of the time.

I use the website but lots don't. We had one that got messed up and was only on the net. Folks in north ga must not have the net. Or it could have been the tornados that kept them away . Be a better option for hunt directors or MOH to do polls at the hunts instead of on here. I believe.

Allen
I use both the magazine and the web. However with the number of entries being down all over I think it should be listed both ways, I know of some of us OLDER hunters who do not do this computer stuff and depend on BLOODLINES to find their hunts as well as I know some who do not get BLOODLINES and rely on the web

I'm sure Allen knows this but the results of this poll couldn't be more preordained if it was made by the Democratic National Party Chairmen. Just look at the results. 5% voting that the magazine is their primary source. But of course! They use the magazine because they don't have internet access. So they can't vote for the middle option because they can't vote.
The only way the poll could be useful is if you knew the percentage of customers that have internet access and then reformulate the results to take that into consideration. But Allens a smart guy. I'm
sure he already knows this.

radius search

I attend hunts in the four states closest to me so a radius search feature would be outstanding. It would save me from having to sort through four states search results separately. Great idea!
