getting ripped off ?

any of u guys get ripped off buying or sale stuff on here ? I sent a collar to a guy 4 weeks ago and never got anything in return no money or collar what can I do about it ? it was sent certifided mail

I have sold some lights and equipment and one dog and had nothing but good luck with it but I protect myself all the way. They have to trust me because I'm not about to trust anyone. The only down side i have found is that if you do much of it you will make someone mad at you sooner or later and i hate that. Why in the world would you send a stranger a collar without payment?

I've bought stuff on here before, never had any problems. But I'm always a little nervous about it.

I don't mind selling on here because nothing ships until money is in hand but I have paid for a couple items and never received what I paid for. I have also bought an item that was nowhere near as described.
I will never buy on here again unless it is someone that is trusted, or someone willing to send their item prior to payment.

if you do business with only posters that have a longer history you can be more confident he will do right.
why must the money be received first? money is more valuable than goods. you can always spend money but goods are valualable only if you want them. why shouldn't good be received first.

the mail has been check thank you and the collar was as decribed non working condition

You have to sign for it for 1 and you said the power button was bad nothing in your post about missing screws and transmitter plug being messed up but not a big deal you have the tracking number where it was sent back to u so you need to track it so u know its there and figure out why the post office has not notified u

Go to any store and ask to try something before they have the money. Bet you don't make out very well.
you can see what you're buying and you know for a fact you'll get what you pay for because it's right in front of you. so, there is no risk to the buyer or seller.

still, sending the item first is more fair because the item is of questionable quality and value whereas the money is of standard value and has universal utility.

Tried a cash.in hand trial on a dog from larry bruner in barbourvile/pineville ky I hubted the dog and it aint.no count now I cant get a reply from him

i won't buy a puppy from anyone unless i know their reputation is good and i like their breeding. i won't buy a grown dog unless i see it in the woods by itself and with then with one of my dogs. i want to go hunting with it and the owner and not on feeder buckets either. i'm not likely to buy a grown dog because i can't afford a good grown dog.

Never been burnt on items, but have plenty on dogs, I just chalk it up as a lesson and my fault.. Sure think i wouldn't have anything to learn about dogs by now lol
