Astro 320 question

I have my 320 set "Record do not show" for the track of the handheld unit. Periodically those tracks will appear on the map and I have to go back to the menu and reset this function even though the unit stills says "Record do not show". What is causing this? Also what is the best setting for the Auto Archive for these tracks? Can archived tracks be accessed or downloaded to a PC? Hope some tech savvy hunter can help me. Thanks
