Anyone out there remember the breeder...
...named Tony Russell?? He was in West Virginia and called his kennel "Tao River Redbones." I have been out of coon hunting for a while now but getting back into it. I was just wondering if anyone remembers/knows whatever became of him. He was a very nice guy and had some pretty decent dogs. I got several really nice puppies from him in the past. Thanks in advance for reading this.
Pretty sure he is no longer in the sport. I got my first Redbone from Tony in 1984, pup was a real nice dog but did not have a great mouth. I really enjoyed that dog.
Tony was in Tanner, WV and later was in Big Springs, WV....

Yep, Tanner WV and I remember he moved. That's him...I got two pups from him. The first got hit by a car the first night out and the replacement he gave me and he turned out to be the best I had back then. He actually had a really good mouth on him.
Tony has moved to Virginia and doesn't have any dogs right now.
