Was hunting in a hunt last night and couldn't answer a phone..On the road today to a college football game if interested..claude will answer your pm a little later today or tomorrow..We have a few guys still using beep beep systems.Trying to see if anyone needs one. Thanks!!

My DC30 arrived today.

Observations................

Very fast shipping.
Physically speaking, the collar is in good to great shape.
Range seems to be quite typical or maybe a little better.
Full battery (testing battery life as we speak) and good GPS reception.

As long as the battery will last at least close to spec at a 5 second update rate, I will have to say I am a very satisfied customer.
I have not hunted with the collar yet, but as long as the battery lasts, I am sure it will be fine.

Grab you a 30 from John fellars. Swore I would not pay over $125 for a DC30 a while back but the DC50 made me eat my words and I am glad Valley creek East was there to fill my need to revert back to a DC30.
Battery lasts about 10-11 hrs on a 5 second update which is expected of a collar probably 4-5 years old.
Hunted with it last night and it worked better than my expectations at times.
I am very tempted to buy another even though I do not need it!
