Registering a litter where 1 parent isn't UKC

Hi! I have a young litter that I would like to register with UKC. The 'problem' is that the dam is UKC reg'd (P636-373) but the sire is not. How would I go about registering the litter?

What breed of dog are we talking about and is the other dog registered with any registry? If so, which one?

Hi Russell! The dogs are Min Pins, the sire is reg'd with AKC, the dam is AKC and UKC. I just learned from the sire owner that she plans on registering him with UKC shortly so my dilemma has been solved. Once she gets him reg'd with UKC I will register my litter.

But for the sake of information, would I have been able to register the litter without the sire being UKC? I assume not since he is just AKC, and the pups would've had to have been registered individually with UKC, correct?

You are correct. The pups would have had to be single registered with us, and they would have had to first be registered with the AKC, but since the Sire will be UKC registered, that makes things easier as far as registering the litter with us is concerned.
