opinions on bloodlines
I am usually a black and tan guy and I just got a seven month walker. He is running with the older dogs and treeing and has even beat the other dogs to the tree with the meat. I am wondering what opinions are on the breeding of the pup and any traits of the dogs on his pedigree.

Finley river is some old blood I had a a male that was all Finley river that was my first dog and at 12 you got the best lol but he was good awesome track dog but was only 60% and not a hard tree dog but again he had a 12 year old handler but I am a fan of the blood as for rat attack not a big fan I haven't had luck with it I tried out 3 females out of him this year and they all went back but that's just me I know a lot of ppl that do love that blood
Hi Josh,
I know nothing about the top side of your pup. However, I do about the bottom. The mother of your pup is from a great cross of reproducing females!!! There are at least three females in that cross that I have been able to keep track of, all of them are throwing nice hounds!
I owned the Pine Ridge Emma and she was an outstanding coon dog and reproducer of really nice hounds also.
Keep me posted Good luck with your pup!!! My number is 812/661-2550 if you want to call.

The sire is Tim Tillmans dog. He was out of frozen semen from his old Fred dog.
I bought this pup from Tim Tillman after I hunted with one of his females out of Fred.

Josh, saw your pup at the Youth Hunt. He looked very nice. He has a very good ped. also. If he starts giving it to your Black Dogs, look at him as a Black Dog with to much white. Good Luck with him. Jerry Ponton
Thanks Jerry I am very happy with him so far. I didn't realize you had a hunt last week or I would have brought him out there and put him on the bench. Looks like Chris Whitney did good. I will be out to your club in the spring for sure!!
