Why is it the owner and handler have to be members of the o.s.s.d.a ? I've never got anything from them not even news letter or nothin in my opinion its a rip off if I pay for a membership I should get something out of it

Do other state championships require you to join their associations ?

Joe, here in PA you have to be a member or a member of a club that is a member. At any rate, it's only a few bucks, not a big deal when you figure in travel costs and entries.

The trophies, dog box and jackets they're giving away aren't free, that's where the membership dues go to (or should anyway)
