Swollen Glands

Are swollen glands indicative of a tick disease?

My son has a B&T Male with a similar probem. We had test's & treatments done. One of his littermates had same problem. They had Alergy tests run. The dog was alergic to Beef products. We chanced to a Grain Free dog food and one that had no beef or meat bi-products. We usually buy Lamb/Chicken/Fish Flavors. Right now we are buying 4Health at Tractor Supply (There's 2 different One's). We buy the one's that says 100% Grain Free. I believe the one we get is Turkey/Potatoe. You might need to get something like prenizone from the Vet. also to help with the healing. Or try a dog wound cleaner (Wash) & Some nesporine.
Years Ago we had a Lab with a similar problem,but, it was Red Mange. The doctor made up a solution to soak feet in. That worked.

Could be a food allergy but I would bet on a fungal infection .Buy some atheletes foot medication in the aerosol can (treats fungus & yeast infections) spray on soles between toes top and bottom @ least 2 x a day for a couple of weeks even if it clears up sooner . If dog is where it's muddy or moist move it. In a pen clean with bleach rinse well , keep feet clean & dry while treating more moisture is the enemy right now. May see a vet if doesn't clear up soon.

We had a female pup we bought several years ago develop this. We took her to the vet and was diagnosed with demodectic mange. We treated her for months and finally ended up having to put her down because the way she limped/walked to keep her feet from hurting started affecting how her growth plates were developing in her legs. Then it just got to the point to where we knew she was never going to get any better. We did what we had to do. The vet said it was hereditery too.
