the laika's are natural born tree dogs.using their eyes, ears & nose to tree sq. coon, bear or about any kind of game you want to hunt them on.

Really love my pup jt! He was extremely well minded on the ride home, and for only spending one day with him he seems to be learning very quickly. I already have him coming when I whistle and he sure does love to bark and growl at my coon tail! I have high hopes for this litter of pups, I would love to hear some feedback from others who have gotten a pup out of this litter. Thanks jt for having such nice quality pups, and especially for the eggs, apple butter, and pie filling. The apple butter was extremely good, can't wait to make my pie! You have beautiful dogs, especially them little fiests, I have never owned one but I may have to considerate after seeing yours. (Not anytime soon of course) lol but thanks again, and I will def. keep you posted on my pups progress!

good to hear you folks made it home safe,i'll tell the better half you enjoyed the apple butter. I am really impressed with the pups also, if the LORD lets me stay here a lil longer i'll be having more of the lil fiest dogs
in the future also.I'LL try & post the pictures on here tomorrow.
two of the others left this afternoon. one going to n.c & the dog haulers
picked up one to take to pa.the blk. male left my himself didn't bark much
being my himself as I thought he might.

I got my male pup from Mr. Robinson also and he is and seems to be pretty smart he also comes when I call and he is not afraid of any noise or movement and he looks in my face when im talking to him and pays attention and a few lessions he learned the first time what not to do and doesnot, still alittle crying at night and its hard to believe that mush noise can come from a little guy.

these pups didn't miss much that went on around them.there was a sq. playing in yard a pretty good ways from them & it didn't take but a min. or so & you should have seen them.didn't bark but they watch every move the sq. made till it went back up in the woods.
I made a lot of different & some unusal noise's around them & they
never did pay any attention to the noise.
hope everyone's pup does good for all of us.

Laikas

Boys I have hunted with tree dogs just about my whole life and have owned some top notch dogs several world chs. I got a chance to go with 2 laikas in Michigan I was so impressed I have purchased 2 since I got home 1 pup and a 2 year old female finished sq. dog. I was blown away at the airing ability of these dogs all I can say is they can get under a sq. in a hurry. I don't know how they would do in a comp. hunt but I may get a chance to find out. Fellas don't overlook these dogs if your like me I had to see for myself before I could imagine what people was saying about these dogs. We had a top notch sq. dog with us and he was going 200 to 400 yards between sq. trees we dropped these dogs in the same woods and they treed 11 in about 45 min. and never went over 200 yards between sq.s. I just think there airing is the key. JMO
