New York State Championship-Purina Hunt

New York Houndsmen Conservation Assoc. will be holding the Purina State hunt Oct. 11 &12 2013 Hosted by the Chemung County Coonhunters Assoc. at 688 Rumsey Hill Rd. VanEtten , NY, See ad in Sept. Bloodlines
With this event we will again be holding a fund raiser to help the fight for our hunting dog rights as well as the right to hunt and keep our firearm rights
we will be holding a drawing for
1st prize GARMIN ASTRO 320 W/DC40 collar or $500
2nd prize TRI-TRONICS NIGHTRAZOR light or $200
3rd prize $100
Drawing Oct.12 2013 just before cast are called
need not be present to win
LETS RAISE SOME FUNDS AND SUPPORT THE NY HOUNDSMEN fighting for the benefit of ALL HOUNDSMEN THROUT THE COUNTRY

THE HOUNDSMEN, THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR ALL WHO HUNT AND ALL HOUNDSMEN & WEMEN THAT USE DOGS TO HUNT ALL SORTS OF GAME.
COYOTE, BEAR, FOX, COON ,BOBCAT, RABBITT,ETC.-- THEY ARE LOBBYING FOR SEASONS, BOTH TRAINING AND HUNTING FOR ALL HOUNDSMEN BENIFIT.

The NY Houndsmen also are great youth supporters, each year they sponsor the NY State Youth Hunt as well as youth pheasant hunts, so lets donate and support the Houndsmen and have a chance at one of these prizes

No, this is like a regular UKC hunt, but is a PURINA EVENT,

I just looked at the ad in Bloodlines-- it says
Night Hunt Overall Champion will be determined from the combined points of both nights, Cast winners with plus points are first, Two cast wins will beat one cast win regardless of points. must have plus points to win trophy.

I am not; there was another Rich Taber who was from Mt. Upton, and no relative of mine, and who had coonhounds, who you are probably thinking of and who passed away 4-5 years ago. I am from Madison County, just to the north of that area. I was forever being confused with that other guy.
